The Whistleblower Protection Office is a budgetary organisation. Its establishment was supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic, in addition to the state budget. The year 2023 was the second year in which it went through a complete budget cycle and the first in which its expenditure was not significantly distorted by the use of European funds. All documents related to the use of public funds are transparently published, in the form of publication of the list of orders and invoices and also in the Central Register of Contracts.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The protection of personal data is very important to the Office for the Protection of Whistleblowers (hereinafter referred to as \"the WPO\") and the WPO considers it necessary to inform the public about how it processes the personal data it collects, why it collects it and what this means for the data subjects.
